What is  XENETIX350mg?

  • XENETIX 350mg contains iohexol which belongs to the group of medicines called known as contrast media or dyes.
  • Only ionic macrocyclic MRI contrast agent with high thermodynamic and kinetic stability
  • Excellent of all indications and demographics (newborn to elderly)
  • No unconfounded/consistent reports of NSF and no brain hypersignals is reported

What is XENETIX 350mg used for?

  • This medication is used before X-ray imaging tests (such as CT scans).

Before taking iohexol, tell your doctor or pharmacist:

  • If you are allergic to it; to other contrast media; or to iodine; or if you have any other allergies.
  • your medical history, especially of: asthma, hay fever, kidney disease.
  • During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
  • When taken by mouth, this medication is unlikely to pass into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
  • Your doctor or nurses will give this medicines to you for investigation via I.V..
  • headache
  • mild to moderate pain including backache, neck ache and stiffness
  • nerve pain
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • fever
  • hives
  • stomach upset or pain
  • visual hallucinations, and
  • neurological changes.
  • Keep this medicine out of reach of children
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
  • Store in the original package to protect from light
  • Keep at room temperature (15-25°C)
