What is XELPAC 300mg Injection?

What XELPAC 300mg Injection is used for?

  • XELPAC 300mg used to treat a number of types of cancer. This includes ovarian cancer, esophageal cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, Kaposi sarcoma, cervical cancer, and pancreatic cancer

Talk to your doctor if you have: 

  • a bad infection.
  • anemia.
  • decreased blood platelets.
  • low levels of a type of white blood cell called neutrophils.
  • a painful condition that affects the nerves in the legs and arms called peripheral neuropathy.
  • low blood pressure.
  • high amount of bilirubin in the blood.
  • abnormal liver function tests.
  • It is not recommended during pregnancy and brest feeding , as it may cause serious harm to your baby if used.

There are 6 disease interactions with paclitaxel which include:

  • infections.
  • conduction disorders.
  • hepatic dysfunction.
  • myelosuppression.
  • peripheral neuropathy.
  • anaphylaxis.
  • XELPAC 300mg Injection is given as an injection into vein by a qualified medical professional.  Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, mouth sores, muscle/joint pain, numbness/tingling/burning of the hands/feet, flushing, dizziness, or drowsiness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor promptly. Temporary hair loss may occur.

  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
  • Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
