What is T-DOX 100MG?

  • T-DOX contains DOXYCYCLINE  is an antibiotic medicine used to treat bacterial infections.

What T-DOX is used for?

  • Treatment of Bacterial infections
  • Treatment of Acne

Tell your doctor about all your medical conditions including, if you:

  • are allergic to DOXYCYCLINE or to any of its ingredients
  • liver disease;
  • kidney disease;
  • asthma or sulfite allergy;
  • if you also take isotretinoin, seizure medicine, or a blood thinner such as warfarin (Coumadin).
  • Taking this medicine during pregnancy & breast feeding may affect tooth and bone development in the unborn baby. Taking doxycycline during the last half of pregnancy can cause permanent tooth discoloration later in the baby's life. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or if you become pregnant while using this medicine.
  • Children should not use this medicine. Doxycycline can cause permanent yellowing or graying of the teeth in children younger than 8 years old.
  • T-DOX 100mg Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take including:

  • antacids containing aluminum, calcium, or magnesium, and iron-containing preparations
  • Barbiturates, carbamazepine, and phenytoin
  • oral contraceptives
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • It should always be swallowed whole with a full glass of water
  • Doxycyline may be taken with food or milk if the medicine upsets your stomach
  • Take this medicine at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal

If you take more

  • If you take too much  at one time, call the doctor, or go to the emergency room right away

If you forget to take

  • If the forgotten dose is just a few hours late, take it straight away. If it is nearly time for your next dose, then miss out the forgotten one. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose

If you stop taking

  • If you stop taking the medicine too soon your infection may come back again or get worse
  • Do not stop taking this unless your doctor tells you to
  •  stomach pain, diarrhea that is watery or bloody;
  • throat irritation, trouble swallowing;
  • chest pain, irregular heart rhythm, feeling short of breath
  • little or no urination;
  • Keep this medicine out of reach of children
  • Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
