What is SULBACIN 1.5GM?

  • SULBACIN 1.5GM contains Ampicillin and Sulbactum which belongs to a group of medicine called antibiotics

What SULBACIN 1.5GM is used for?

It is used in adults and children to treat the following infections:

  • skin and skin structure Infections
  • intra-abdominal Infections
  • gynecological Infections

Talk to your Doctor if you:

  • are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • have heart, liver or kidney problems
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • Consult your doctor for advice for the use of this medicine in children

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • allopurinol, probenecid (used for gout)
  • methotrexate (rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis or cancer)
  • This medicine will be given by doctor or nurse
  • It is administered by deep intramuscular route
  • pain at injection site
  • Keep this medicine out of reach of children
  • Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
