What is Sucol Injection?

Sucol Injection contains succinylcholine is a muscle relaxant which helps in procedures like endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation.

What is Sucol Injection used for?

Skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery

Tell your doctor if you have ever had:

are allergic or hypersensitive to Succinylcholine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
malignant hyperthermia
kidney impairment
liver impairment
muscle stiffness, and
trouble breathing

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

Use with care in children. Talk with the doctor.

It is not known whether Sucol Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Tell your doctor if you are taking or have ever taken following medicines:

including prescription/nonprescription drugs and herbal products
Amikacin
Furosemide
Amlodipine
Phenytoin

It is administered to you by a doctor or nurse
You will always receive this injection by infusion into one of your veins
Kindly do not self administer

Abdominal cramp
Abdominal pain
Nausea
Muscle twitching
Excessive salivation
Muscle pain

Storage

Store in a refrigerator (2 - 8°C). Do not freeze.
Keep out of the reach of children
Do not use this medicine after expiry date
