What is POTCL?

POTCL contains Potassium chloride

What POTCL is used for?

It is used to replace the loss of potassium from the body

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
suffer from kidney disease
have any heart condition

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine

You should not drive or use machinery if you are affected by the administration of this medicine

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

diuretics (used to treat heart problems)
drugs used to treat high blood pressure
cyclosporin (used to depress the immune system following transplants, and in severe skin, rheumatic and bowel disorders)

It will be given by a doctor or nurse

pain at the site of injection
inflammation of the vein into which the solution is being injected
raised blood levels of potassium
