What is PLACENTREX 2ml?

  • PLACENTREX 2ml contains nitrogen and fresh human placenta extract which belongs to the class of dermatological preparations

 

What PLACENTREX 2ml is used for?

  • It is used to treat chronic non-healing wounds or delayed wound healing (in case of diabetes). Besides this, it also treats wounds associated with burns, chronic ulcers, or other skin defects.  

 

  • Please do not stop the medication without your doctor's advice as it may cause the wound to recur. PLACENTREX INJECTION 2ML is only intended for use on the skin (topical) use. Do not apply in your eyes. Accidently if PLACENTREX INJECTION 2ML comes in contact with your eyes immediately wash your eyes with cold water and contact a doctor if medical attention id required. Avoid using PLACENTREX INJECTION 2ML if you are allergic to the placenta or antibiotics like gentamicin, vancomycin, or amphotericin B. Do not apply PLACENTREX INJECTION 2ML if you have any skin allergies or develop any severe skin allergic reactions. Let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding before using PLACENTREX INJECTION 2ML. 
  • PLACENTREX INJECTION 2ML should be used in pregnant women only if clinically needed and benefits outweigh the risks.
  • PLACENTREX INJECTION 2ML should be used in breastfeeding mothers only if benefits outweigh the risks.
