What is orochlor mouthwash?

Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.2 % w/v.Chlorhexidine belongs to a class of drugs known as antimicrobials that is used to treat gingivitis. It works by decreasing the amount of bacteria in the mouth, helping to reduce swelling and redness of the gums and bleeding when you brush

It is used to:

  • Treat and prevent gum disease
  • Promote gum healing after dental surgery or treatment
  • Control mouth ulcers
  • Maintain mouth hygience
  • Manage oral thrush and denture sore mouth
  • Always take this mouthwash exactly as your doctor has told you
  • Fill the cap to the 10ml line
  • Rinse mouth thoroughly for 1 minute then spit out
  • Do not swallow
  • Please inform your doctor in case you are taking any prescription based or non prescription based medicines
  • Tongue coated
  • Dry mouth
  • Aguesia / Dysguesia, Glossodynia, Oral paraesthesia / Hypoaesthesia
  • Allergic to chlorhexidine or other any ingredients of this medicine
  • Medical history of dental crowns, veneers or fillings
  • This medicine can not be used in children under 12 years
  • If you are pregnant or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • If you are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine as it is not known if it passes into breast milk
  • Keep this medicine out of reach of children
  • Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
  • Do not use after the expiry date stated
