What is OMNIVIT CAPSULE?

OMNIVIT CAPSULE contains Vitamin B-complex with folic acid, vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E

What is OMNIVIT CAPSULE used for?

OMNIVIT is recommended for the treatment and or prevention of multivitamin deficiency. It is used as vitamin supplement during pregnancy, lactation, old-age, illness and convalescence.

Tell your doctor about all your medical conditions including, if you:

  • are allergic to any of its ingredients (Vitamin B-complex with folic acid, vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E)
  • abuse of alcohol,
  • have liver problems,
  • have stomach/intestinal problems (e.g., ulcer, colitis).
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • Antacids decrease absorption of Vitamin A and fat-soluble vitamins D, E, K.
  • Vitamin E: Normal amount facilitates absorption, storage in liver and utilization of Vitamin A.
  • Excessive dosage may deplete Vitamin A stores in liver.
  • Vitamin E decreases effect of iron supplement in people with iron-deficiency anemia. Iron supplements decrease Vitamin-E effect in healthy people.
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • This medicine can be swallowed with a whole glass of water
  • Do not crush or chew the medicine
  • One capsule daily after meal or as directed by the physician

 If you take more OMNIVIT

  • If you take too much of this medicine, contact your doctor or go to nearest hospital immediately

If you forget to take OMNIVIT

  • If you forget to take your medicine, take it as soon as you remember then continue to take it at the usual times
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

If you stop taking OMNIVIT

  • Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells to do so
  • Constipation,
  • diarrhea, or upset stomach
  • Abdominal pain.
  •  Appetite loss
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
  • Protect from sunlight
  • Do not take this medicine after the expiry date
