What is NORAD?

  • NORAD contains Noradrenaline which belongs to the group of adrenergic and dopaminergic agent

What NORAD is used for?

  • It is indicated for the emergency restoration of blood pressure in cases of acute hypotension

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

  • are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • have major left ventricular dysfunction (a heart condition)
  • have coronary, mesenteric or peripheral vascular thrombosis or heart rhythm disorders
  • have Prinzmetal’s variant angina
  • have hyperthyroidism or diabetes mellitus
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • It is not recommended for child use.
  • Consult your doctor for advice before you drive or operate any machines

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • halothane or cyclopropane (used for anesthesia)
  • drugs used to treat depression
  • linezolid (used to treat infection)
  • alpha and beta-blockers (used to treat hypertension)
  • drugs used for thyroid, heart conditions
  • ergot alkaloids or oxytocin
  • NORAD will be given by a doctor or nurse

  • anxiety, insomnia, confusion, headaches, psychotic state, weakness, tremor, lower vigilance, anorexia, nausea, vomiting
  • difficulty in breathing, fast or slow heart rate, pain in the chest or throat, retention of urine
  • pallor (loss of skin color), sweating, sensitivity to light

  • Blue lips and fingernails
  • confusion
  • coughing that sometimes produces a pink frothy sputum
  • difficult, fast, noisy breathing
  • dizziness, fainting, or lightheadedness when getting up suddenly from a lying or sitting position
  • increased sweating
  • itching of the skin
  • numbness and tingling of the face, fingers, or toes
  • pain in the arms legs, or lower back, especially in the calves or heels upon exertion
  • pale, bluish-colored, cold hands or feet
  • pale skin
  • swelling in the legs and ankles
  • weak or absent pulses in the legs

  • Keep this medicine out of reach of children
  • Store at a room temperature of 15-25ºC
