What is NEWRON 75N FORTE?

NEWRON 50N FORTE is a combination of two medicines: Methylcobalamin and Pregabalin. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases the pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells.

What NEWRON 75N FORTE is used for?

  • neuropathic pain and
  • nerve regeneration

Talk to your doctor before taking NEWRON, if you:

  • are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients NEWRON
  • are suffering from vitamin B12 deficiency
  • have renal or hepatic impairment

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking NEWRON

NEWRON 75N FORTE Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are using other products such as:

  • opioid pain or cough relievers (such as codeine, hydrocodone),
  • alcohol, marijuana (cannabis),
  • drugs for sleep or anxiety (such as alprazolam, lorazepam, zolpidem),
  • muscle relaxants (such as carisoprodol, cyclobenzaprine), or
  • antihistamines (such as cetirizine, diphenhydramine)
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • It should be swallowed as a whole
  • Do not chew or crush the medicine

If you take more NEWRON 75N FORTE

  • If you take more this medicine, talk to a doctor or go to a hospital straight away

If you forget to takeNEWRON 75N FORTE

  • If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

If you stop taking NEWRON 75N FORTE

  • Do not stop taking this medicine unless told by your doctor
  • Dizziness
  • Sleepiness
  • Tiredness
  • Uncoordinated body movements
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
  • Protect from sunlight
  • Do not take this medicine after the expiry date
