What is NEOVIT 100MG?

  • NEOVIT 100MG contain Thiamine (Thiamine is vitamin B1).

What  NEOVIT 100MG is used for?

NEOVIT 100MG contain Thiamine

  • Thiamine is taken for conditions related to low levels of thiamine, including beriberi and inflammation of the nerves (neuritis) associated with pellagra or pregnancy. Thiamine is also used for digestive problems including poor appetite, ulcerative colitis, and ongoing diarrhea.
  • It is also used to treat and prevent Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome (tingling and numbness in hands and feet, memory loss, confusion caused by a lack of thiamine in the diet)

Talk to your doctor before taking NEOVIT, if you:

  • are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients in NEOVIT
  • are suffering from vitamin B1 deficiency
  • have any other chronic or acute medical condition
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking NEOVIT.
  • Ask your doctor for advice before giving NEOVIT to your children
  • NEOVIT will usually not affect your ability to drive and use machines
  • Tell your doctor before taking NEOVIT, if you are taking any other medicine including medicines obtained without prescription or any other supplements or herbal products.
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • Take NEOVIT  after food
  • Swallow the tablet whole with some water
  • Do not chew, crush or split the tablet
  • The dose and the course of treatment depends on the severity and type of infection

If you take more

  • Contact your doctor or your nearest hospital immediately

If you forget to take

  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Just take your next dose at the usual time

If you stop taking

  • Do not stop unless your doctor advises you to
  • warmth.
  • severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)
  • skin discoloration.
  • sweating.
  • restlessness.
  • rapid swelling of the skin.
  • itching.
  • hives.
  • Vitamin B1, or thiamin, helps prevent complications in the nervous system, brain, muscles, heart, stomach, and intestines. It is also involved in the flow of electrolytes into and out of muscle and nerve cells.
  • Keep this medicine out of reach of children
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
  • Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
