What is NEOVEC 10mg?

NEOVEC 10mg contains Vecuronium Bromide which belongs to a group of medicines called muscle relaxants

What NEOVEC 10mg is used for?

It is used:

to facilitate endotracheal intubation.
to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery and mechanical ventilation.

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
have myasthenia gravis
have anaphylactic reactions
have reduced renal function or a renal disease
have cardiovascular disease
have hepatic disease
have severe obesity or neuromuscular disease
have malignant hyperthermia

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

Your doctor will decide your dose according to your child's age and height.

It is not likely to cause any effects on drivers and machine users. Consult your doctor for any inconvenience.

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

succinylcholine (used as a skeletal muscle relaxant)
calcium channel blockers, beta-blockers and quinidine (used for the treatment of heart disease or high blood pressure)
cimetidine (used to treat stomach ulcers, heartburn or acid reflux)
diuretics (which increase the amount of urine)
lithium (used to treat mania, manic depressive illness or depression)
phenytoin or carbamazepine (used for epilepsy)
enflurane, isoflurane and halothane (inhalational anesthetics)
thiopental (used to help you relax before you receive general anesthesia)
