What is NEOMOL 300mg?

  • NEOMOL 300mg contains Paracetamol which belongs to a group of medicines called analgesic and antipyretics.

What NEOMOL 300mg used for?

  • It is used for the relief of mild to moderate pain and feverish conditions such as headache, toothache, colds, influenza, joint pain and period pains.

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic to paracetamol or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
  • have suffered from alcoholism.
  • have severe kidney or liver disease.
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.
  • Your doctor will prescribe the right dose base on the age and weight of the child.
  • It is not likely to cause any effects for drivers and machine users.

Tell your doctor if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines such as:

  • medicines to prevent blood clotting such as warfarin
  • metoclopramide or domperidone
  • colestyramine (to treat high cholesterol levels)
  • imatinib (used to treat leukemia and some stomach tumors)
  • Your doctor or nurses will give this medicines to you. Kindly do not self administer.
  • Allergic reactions such as skin reddening, blisters and rash.
  • Pain at site of injection.

  • An allergic reaction, which can cause a rash and swelling
  • Flushing, low blood pressure and a fast heartbeat – this can sometimes happen when paracetamol is given in hospital into a vein in your arm
  • Blood disorders, such as thrombocytopenia (low number of platelet cells) and leukopenia (low number of white blood cells)
  • Liver and kidney damage, if you take too much (overdose) – this can be fatal in severe cases
