What is Nazolin Nasal Spray?

Nazolin Nasal Spray contains oxymetazoline hydrocholoride which belongs to sympathomimetic amine of the imidazoline class

What is Nazolin Nasal Spray used for?

common cold,
sinusitis,
hay fever, and allergies
nasal decongestant in otitis media

Talk your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:

are allergic to oxymetazoline or any of the ingredients in this medicine
taking the over counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.)
have heart/blood vessel disease,
overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism),
diabetes,
high blood pressure,
difficulty urinating (due to enlarged prostate)

It is not known if NAZOLIN may harm your unborn baby
It is not known if NAZOLIN pass into your milk and if they can harm your baby
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding or plan to become pregnant ask advice to your doctor before taking this medicine

Check the product package or consult with your doctor or pharmacist about whether this nasal spray can be used in children

Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride Nasal preparation should not be given to patients being treated with MAO inhibitors(isocarboxazid, linezolid, methylene blue, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, rasagiline, safinamide, selegiline) or within 14 days of ceasing such treatment.

Oxymetazoline Hydrochlorid Nasal preparation is recommended for intranasal use only. It should be used for no longer than 5 days.

Remove the dust cover cap
During application, tilt your head slightly forward and keep the container upright then use the nasal spray
After each use, gently wipe the spray tip with clean & soft cloth or tissue paper. Finally set the dust cover cap in the previous place

Common

slow/fast/pounding heartbeat,
dizziness, nausea,
headache,
mental/mood changes,
trouble sleeping, shaking (tremors)
, unusual sweating,
unusual weakness.

Storage

Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
