What is IMFERON -S Injection?

IMFERON -S Injection contains Iron Sucrose is used for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in patients suffering from chronic kidney disease (CKD).

What is IMFERON -S Injection used for?

Iron deficiency anemia

Talk to your Doctor, if you ever had:

are allergic or hypersensitive to Iron Sucrose or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
hemochromatosis or iron overload (the buildup of excess iron)

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

Iron sucrose is for use in adults and children at least 2 years old.

It is not known whether IMFERON -S 20mg Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Tell your doctor if you are taking or have ever taken following medicines:

Benazepril
Ramipril
Lisinopril
Ferrous Gluconate
Dimercaprol

It is administered to you by a doctor or nurse
You will always receive this injection by infusion into one of your veins
Kindly do not self administer

Common

Nausea
Vomiting
Constipation
Dark colored stool

Storage

Protect from excess heat and light
Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
Do not use the medicine after expiry date
