What is FLUPEN 500MG INJECTION?

FLUPEN 500MG INJECTION Contains Flucloxacillin which is an antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections.

What is FLUPEN 500MG INJECTION used for?

Skin and soft tissue infections: infected skin conditions (e.g. ulcer, eczema, and acne), protection for skin grafts
Respiratory tract infections: Pneumonia, lung abscess, sinusitis, pharyngitis, otitis media and tonsillitis
Osteomyelitis, urinary tract infection

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

are allergic to any of the ingredients in FLUCLOXACILLIN
have hepatic or renal impairment

If you are pregnant, or plan to become pregnant. Your doctor will decide if this is the best treatment for you
Do not breast-feed while taking medicine without consult your doctor
Consult your doctor for more advice

This medicine is not recommended to children under 2 years.

FLUPEN 500MG INJECTION does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take including:

Probenecid and sulfinpyrazone
Methotrexate
warfarin
Paracetamol

FLUPEN 500MG INJECTION will given to you by doctor or nurse
This medicine is usually injected into a muscle
It may also be given into a vein, either as an injection or (following dilution) as an infusion (drip)

Bloating
Indigestion

Storage

Keep out of reach of children
Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
Protect from sunlight
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
