What is FLUCORT H SKIN?

  • FLUCORT H SKIN contains Fluocinolone which belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids

What FLUCORT H SKIN is used for?

  • FLUCORT H SKIN used for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteriod-responsive dermatoses (itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling, inflammation, and discomfort of various skin conditions)

Tell your doctor before using this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic to Fluocinolone or to any other contents of this medicine
  • have skin ulcers, wounds or burn on the skin
  • have certain skin problems, including ichthyosis (a condition causing rough, fish-scale like skin), juvenile plantar dermatosis (a skin problem on the feet of children)
  • have common acne or acne rosacea
  • have cushing's syndrome (damage to body tissues due to high levels of the hormone cortisol in the blood over a long time)
  • have diabetes
  • have adrenal insufficiency (condition in which the adrenal gland do not produce adequate amounts of steroid hormones, primarily cortisol)
  • Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding or planning to become pregnant
  • The use of FLUCORT H SKIN in children and adolescents is as directed by your doctor

Tell your doctor if you are using,

  • other corticosteroid medicines by mouth or use other products on your skin that contain corticosteroids
  • topical cosmetic products
  • Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • Apply a small amount of this medicine to cover the affected area of skin with in a thin even film and rub it in gently two to four times daily
  • The treated skin area should not be bandaged or otherwise covered or wrapped as to be occlusive unless directed by your doctor
  • If any infection develops, the use of the occlusive dressings should be discontinued

If you use more FLUCORT H SKIN

  • If you use more of this medicine, remove the excess medicine by washing with water

If you forgot to apply FLUCORT H SKIN

  • Continue to apply as directed but do not apply twice as much to make up for the missed application

If you stop using FLUCORT H SKIN

  • Do not stop using this medicine unless told to do so by your doctor
  • severe skin rash
  • hives
  • redness, swelling or other signs of skin infection
  • burning, itching, irritation, redness, or drying of the skin
  • acne
  • change in skin color
  • bruising or shiny skin
  • tiny red bumps or rash around the mouth
  • small white or red bumps on the skin

  • Keep this medicine out of reach of children
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
  • Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
