What IS FEZA 180MG?

FEZA 180mg  contains fexofenadine hydrochloride which belongs to a class of drug called antihistamines. It works by blocking a substance in the body called histamine. This helps to decrease allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy throat, watery eyes, treat hives and skin itching.

What FEZA 180MG is used for?

  • FEZA 180 mg is indicated in adults and children 12 years and older for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis.Aladin is used in the treatment of allergic symptoms such as runny nose, congestion or stuffiness, sneezing, itching, swelling, and watery eyes. It also helps treat skin allergies with itching, redness, or swelling.

Talk to your doctor if you:

  • are allergic to aceclofenac or any other ingredients of this medicine
  • have severe kidney or liver disease
  •  have history of or ongoing cardiovascular disease as anti-histamine medicine class, have been associated with the adverse reactions, tachycardia and palpitations.
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • It is not recommended for children below 12 years of age.
  • FEZA 180MG tablets are unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. However, you should check that these tablets do not make you feel sleepy or dizzy before driving or operating machinery
  • Tell your doctor if you are taking antacids (aluminium and magnesium hydroxide gels )15 minutes prior to fexofenadine hydrochloride, as it caused a reduction in bioavailability. It is advisable to leave 2 hours between administration of fexofenadine hydrochloride and aluminium and magnesium hydroxide containing antacids.
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • This medicine can be swallowed with a whole glass of water
  • Do not crush or chew the medicine

 If you take more FEZA 180MG

  • If you take too much of this medicine, contact your doctor or go to nearest hospital immediately

If you forget to take FEZA 180MG

  • If you forget to take your medicine, take it as soon as you remember then continue to take it at the usual times
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

If you stop taking FEZA 180MG

  • Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells to do so
