What is FEBREX PLUS?

  • FEBREX PLUS contains Paracetamol, Chlorpheniramine and Phenylephrine

What FEBREX PLUS is used for?

It is used to:

  • relieve nasal and sinus congestion, allergic symptoms of the nose or throat due to upper respiratory tract, sinus pain and headache
  • adjunct with antibacterials in sinusitis, tonsillitis and otitis media

Talk to your doctor, if you:

  • are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • have high blood pressure
  • have liver or kidney disease
  • have diabetes mellitus
  • have hyperthyroidism
  • have heart problems
  • have epilepsy
  • have closed angle glaucoma
  • This medicine is recommended during pregnancy only under doctor's recommendation
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • This medicine is not recommended for children under 2 years of age
  • This medicine is not advisable while driving or operating any machine

Tell your doctor, if you are taking,

  • methyldopa, reserpine (used to blood pressure)
  • beta-adrenergic agents (used to treat breathing problems)
  • monoamine oxidase inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants (used to treat depression)
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • Swallow the medicine with a glass of water
  • Do not crush or chew the medicine

If you take more FEBREX PLUS

  • If you take more of this medicine talk to your doctor or go to a nearest hospital immediately  

If you forget to take FEBREX PLUS

  • If you have forgot to take your dose, take it as soon as possible on the same day
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

If you stop taking FEBREX PLUS

  • Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do
  • chest pain, rapid pulse, fast or uneven heart rate
  • confusion, hallucinations, severe nervousness
  • dizziness, drowsiness
  • dry mouth, nose, or throat
