What is DOMSTAL 10mg?

  • DOMSTAL 10mg contains Domperidone which belongs to an antiemetic

What is DOMSTAL 10mg?

  • It is an anti-sickness medicine. It helps you to stop feeling or being sick (nausea or vomiting). It can also be used to treat stomach pain if you're having end of life care (palliative care). It is sometimes used to increase milk supply
  • Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: history of breast cancer, allergies. Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages.
  • This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor

The following drugs intracted with domperidone,

  • Bepridil.
  • Cisapride.
  • Darunavir.
  • Dronedarone.
  • Fluconazole.
  • Ketoconazole.
  • Mesoridazine.
  • Pimozide.
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • You usually take domperidone when you need it, up to 3 times a day. It works best if you take it before meals
  • The most common side effect of domperidone is a dry mouth
  • Take your doses about half an hour before meals. If you take domperidone after a meal, it will still work, but it may take longer to have an effect. Domperidone should be taken for a short period of time only. Your treatment will last no longer than seven days
  • Keep this medicine out of reach of children
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
  • Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
