What is Digicon 100 mg capsule?

Digicon capsule contains traconazole 100 mg Capsules

Itraconazole belongs to a class of drugs known as azole antifungals. It is an antifungal medication which works by stopping the growth of fungi

  • Your doctor will tell you how much of this medicine to take and when to take it
  • Take this medicine with a full meal
  • Do not crush or crew the medicine
  • Do not take more than your doctor has recommended

If you forget to take this medicine:

  • Take it as soon as you remember
  • If you miss a dose, take the next dose as usual - do not double the dose

If you stop taking this medicine:

  • Do not stop taking the medicine without talking to your doctor

Please inform your doctor in case you are taking any of the following medicines:

  • Efavirenz, Nevirapine
  • Isoniazid, Rifabutin
  • Phenytoin
  • Abdominal Pain, Nausea
  • Rash
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Headache, Dizziness, Paraesthesia
  • Vomiting, , Diarrhoea, Constipation, Dyspepsia, Dysgeusia, Flatulence
  • Hyperbilirubinaemia, Alanine Aminotransferase Increased, Aspartate Aminotransferase Increased
  • Urticaria, Alopecia, Pruritus
  • Menstrual Disorders
  • Oedema
  • Leukopenia
  • Hypoaesthesia
  • Visual Disturbance
  • Tinnitus
  • Dyspnoe
  • Pancreatitis
  • Hepatic Enzyme Increased
  • Pollakiuria
  • Pyrexia
  • Allergy to itraconazole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • Have ever had kidney problems
  • Have ever had liver problems
  • Have ever had a heart problem including heart failure (also called congestive heart failure or CHF)
  • This medicine is not recommeded in case you are pregnant or plan to be pregnant. Ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • This medicine is not recommended when breastfeeding as very smal amount of it is excreted in the human milk, so ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine if you are breast-feeding or planning to breastfeed
  • This medicine is not recommended for children

Keep this medicine out of reach of children

-Do not use this medicine after the expiry date

-Store in the original package to protect from light

-Keep at room temperature (15-25°C)
