What is CLODERM CREAM?

CLODERM Cream contains clobetasol propionate which belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. 

What CLODERM CREAM is used for?

It is used to treat various skin conditions such as

  • dermatitis,
  • eczema, and
  • allergies.

Talk to your doctor before using this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance CLODERM CREAM or any of the other ingredients
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • CLODERM CREAM should not be used by children under the age of 1 years
  • CLODERM CREAM doesn’t have any effect while driving or using machines
  • Tell your healthcare provider if you are using any other topical preparations such as cream, ointment, gel
  • Always apply this CREAM exactly as your doctor has told you
  • It is intended for use on the skin
  • You should use CLODERM CREAM once a day. Wash as normal, rinse well and pat your skin dry
  • Apply a small amount of gel in a thin layer to the whole of the area where you usually get the spots
  • It is important to replace the cap after you have used this medicine

If you use more CLODERM CREAM

  • If you use too much CLODERM CREAM at one time, just wash your treated skin with plenty of water. Contact your doctor or your local hospital

If you forget to use CLODERM CREAM

  • Use it as soon as you remember and then continue to use as your doctor has told you. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten application

If you stop using CLODERM CREAM

  • If you stop applying too soon your infection may come back again or get worse
  • Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor tells you to
  • Thinning of skin
  • Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness)
  • Protect from excess heat and light
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date

Cloderm Cream is a steroid. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.
