What is CHLORAMPHENICOL + BECLOMETASONE + CLOTRIMAZOLE + LIGNOCAINE?

Lidocaine is a local anesthetic.

 Beclometasone is a steroid medicine. 

Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic useful for the treatment of a number of bacterial infections.

Clotrimazole is an antifungal medicine.

Candibiotic Plus Ear Drop is a combination medicine that is used to treat ear infections. It prevents the growth of the bacteria that cause infection in the ears. It also relieves the symptoms of inflammation such as redness, itchiness, and irritation.

Before using this drug, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side effects of the drug.

Candibiotic drop can be used during pregnancy, only when prescribed by your doctor. There may be risk of damage to the ear, cleft palate or retarded growth in the growing foetus. In case you are prescribed with this medicine, avoid using it for a prolonged duration.

Candibiotic ear drops can be used by a breastfeeding woman if prescribed by the doctor. Make sure the breastfed infant does not come in contact with any portion of this medicine. Avoid using it for a prolonged period.

Candibiotic ear drop does not influence your driving ability. However, if you experience temporary disturbance in hearing do not drive.

  1. Use Candibiotic Ear Drop as directed by your doctor.
  2. Tilt the head towards one side and place drops in the ear canal.
  3. Use only the desired quantities and do not pour extra drops.
  4. Keep head tilted for 2-3 minutes to let the drops soak in the ear.

Generally, this is a safe medicine. However, it may cause mild and temporary irritation in the ear. Consult your doctor if any side effects persist or worry you. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help.

  • Keep this medicine out of reach of children
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
  • Store in the original package to protect from light
  • Keep at room temperature (15-25°C)
