What is CAMLO-L?

  • CAMLO-L contains Amlodipine and lorsatan potassium which belongs to the class of anti hypertensive drugs. That means they are used to treat High Blood pressure.

What is CAMLO-L used for?

It is used to :

  • treat high blood pressure (hypertension)
  • prevent future heart disease, heart attacks and strokes.
  • prevent chest pain caused by heart disease (angina pectoris)

To make sure amlodipine and lorsatan is safe for you, tell your doctor if you:

  • have had an allergic reaction to amlodipine or any other medicines in the past
  • have liver or kidney disease
  • have heart failure or you have recently had a heart attack
  • severe ventricular dysfunction.
  • It is not suitable if you are trying to get pregnant, are already pregnant or you're breastfeeding so consult your doctor before taking this.

  • It is only suitable for children above 6 years old under doctor supervision.

  • It is not likely to cause any effects for drivers or machine users however there is no such studies that have been carried out to test the effects of amlodipine and lorsatan in drivers and machine users you can consult your doctor for any queries

  • Simvastatin. The FDA recommends limiting the dosage of simvastatin to 20mg daily while also taking amlodipine.
  • CYP3A4 inhibitors. Medications that inhibit an enzyme called CYP3A4 can increase the concentration of amlodipine in the blood. These drugs include diltiazem, ketoconazole, itraconazole, and ritonavir. The FDA recommend that doctors monitor people who are taking both CYP3A4 inhibitors and amlodipine for symptoms of edema and low blood pressure.
  • Cyclosporine. In people who have had a kidney transplant, taking amlodipine and cyclosporine together may increase the levels of cyclosporine in the body.
  • Cimetidne. increase the concentration of lorsatan.
  • phenobarbitol and other enzyme inducers may decrease the level of lorsatan.
  • Always take your medicine as advice by your doctor or pharmacist:
  • The tablets should be swallowed whole with one glass of water(200ml)
  • Take your tablets after meal at the same time daily
  • Your doctor will monitor your pressure and respond to your medicine and may change your dose if required.
  • stomach problems - severe pain in your stomach, with or without bloody diarrhoea, feeling sick and being sick (nausea and vomiting) can be signs of pancreatitis
  • yellow skin or the whites of your eyes turn yellow - this can be a sign of liver problems
  • chest pain that's new or worse - this needs to be checked out as chest pain is a possible symptom of a heart attack.
  • bradycardia, angioedema
  • headaches
  • flushing
  • a pounding heartbeat
  • swelling of your legs or ankles
  • tiredness or extreme sleepiness
  • stomach pain
  • nausea
  • dizziness
  • hot or warm feeling in your face (flushing)
  • irregular heart rate (arrhythmia)
  • very fast heart rate (palpitations)
  • abnormal muscle movements
  • tremors
  • Mostly serious side effeccts are seen uncommon.

  • Large Purple Or Brown Skin Blotches
  • Decreased Blood Platelets
  • Low Levels Of White Blood Cells
  • Depersonalization, A Disconnection Of One's Own Sense Of Reality Or Identity
  • Depression
  • Extrapyramidal Disease, A Type Of Movement Disorder
  • A Heart Attack
  • Worsening Angina
  • Rapid Ventricular Heartbeat
  • Atrial Fibrillation
  • A Change In Vision
  • Pink Eye
  • Eye Pain
  • Ringing In The Ears
  • Fainting
  • Sensation Of Spinning Or Whirling
  • Difficulty Sleeping
  • Excessive Sweating
  • Chills
  • keep this medicine out of reach of children.
  • Donot use this medicine after expiry
  • Store in original package to protect from light
  • keep at room temperature (15-25°C)
