What is Calvit CT tablet sued for?
Calvit CT tablet is used to prevent or treat low bloodcalcium levels in people who do not get enough calcium from their diets.
Common side effects of calvit CT are :
Weakness, Headache, somnolence, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, constipation, muscle pain, bone pain and metallic taste
Calvit CT rarely cause:
somnolence,muscle pain, bone pain and metallic taste
The risk of hypercalcaemia should be considered in patients taking thiazide diuretics since these drugs can reduce urinary calcium excretion. Hypercalcaemia must be avoided in digitalized patients. Certain food (e.g. those containing oxalic acid, phosphate or phytinic acid) may reduce the absorption of calcium.
