What is BETT injection?

  • BETT injection contains tetanus which is a toxoid vaccine that belongs to the category of medicine called immunizing agent used to prevent tetanus.

What BETT injection is used for?

  • It is used to prevent tetanus.

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

  • are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • are suffering from any blood disorder
  • have had any vaccinations recently
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • It is recommended for children older than 7years.
  • There are no known effects of  TETANUS VACCINE on your ability to drive or operate machinery.
  • Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines and herbal supplements.
  • This medicine will be administered  by a doctor or nurse
  • It is given into a muscle (intramuscular) such as the buttock or thigh
  • continuous pain, itching and rash
  • discomfort at the site of injection
  • chest pain
  • shortness of breath
  • shaking, dizziness
  • swelling of the face
  • coating of the tongue and mouth ulcers
  • joint pain
  • slight fever
  • The area of injection may get swollen or hard.

  • Store in a refrigerator at 2-8°C
