What is BETT injection?

BETT injection contains tetanus which is a toxoid vaccine that belongs to the category of medicine called immunizing agent used to prevent tetanus.

What BETT injection is used for?

It is used to prevent tetanus.

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
are suffering from any blood disorder
have had any vaccinations recently

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine

It is recommended for children older than 7years.

There are no known effects of TETANUS VACCINE on your ability to drive or operate machinery.

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines and herbal supplements.

This medicine will be administered by a doctor or nurse
It is given into a muscle (intramuscular) such as the buttock or thigh

Common
Very Rare

continuous pain, itching and rash
discomfort at the site of injection
chest pain
shortness of breath
shaking, dizziness
swelling of the face
coating of the tongue and mouth ulcers
joint pain
slight fever

The area of injection may get swollen or hard.
