What is AERRANE 250ml?

AERRANE 250ml contains Isoflurane which belongs to the group of medicines called General anesthetic.

What AERRANE 250ml is used for?

It is used to put you to sleep for surgery.
It is used to cause sleep during a procedure.

Please inform your doctor if you have any of the following conditions:

Hypersensitivity towards the drug isoflurane or any other allergies.
Malignant hyperthermia
Myasthenia gravis (muscle disorder)
High amount of potassium levels in blood
Liver disease
Duchene muscular dystrophy

This drug should be used during pregnancy only if the benefit outweighs the risk.
For breast feeding women caution is recommended.

Can be use under Doctor supervision.

You cannot drive or use machines since, it cause sleep.

Low blood pressure (hypotension)
Irregular heartbeat
Respiratory depression
Dose-dependent hypotension
Arrhythmias
Elevations in white blood count
May decrease creatinine and increase BUN
Ileus, severe (fatal)

Nausea
Vomiting
Shivering

Malignant hyperthermia
Hepatic dysfunction (postoperative period)
Respiratory depression may occur

Keep this medicine out of reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after expiry
Store in original package to protect from light
keep at room temperature (15-25°C)
