What is MEGAVIT Forte capsule?

It contain

  • PYRIDOXINE(B6)-3MG
  • THIAMINE(B1)-10MG
  • FOLIC ACID(B9)-1.5MCG
  • METHYLCOBALAMIN(B12)-1500MCG
  • ALPHA LIPOIC ACID-100MG

What iMEGAVIT Forte capsule is used for?

  • It is recommended for the treatment and or prevention of multivitamin deficiency. It is used as vitamin supplement during lactation, old-age, illness and convalescence.

It is used to treat:

  • oral ulcers and sore tongue
  • hair fall and greying of hair by providing an adequate amount of nourishment to the hair follicles and treat weak nails
  • pernicious anemia (deficiency of vitamin B12), megaloblastic anemia (deficiency of folic acid)
  • neuralgia (pain due to nerve damage) and paresthesia (altered taste sensation)
  • diarrhea, muscle cramps and chronic gastrointestinal disorders

  • Talk to your Doctor if you

  • are allergic to any of the ingredients in MEGAVIT FORTE
  • have liver, kidney disorders 
  • have peptic ulcer
  • have cardiac arrhythmias
  • are alcoholic
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • Take your tablets with a glass of water If you forget to take this medicine:
  • If you forget to take a dose, take another as soon as you remember
  • If it is almost time for your next dose, then do not take the missed dose at all
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet If you stop taking this medicine:
  • You should continue to take this medicine for as long as your doctor tells you to
  • Do not stop taking the medicine without talking to your doctor first
  • Drowsiness
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Numbness and Tingling

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • abacavir (HIV infection)
  • arsenic trioxide (used to treat leukemia)
  • amiodarone (used to treat irregular heartbeat)
  • anti-diabetic drugs
  • antibiotics (used to treat infections)
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
  • Do not use after the expiry date
